Join Jonathan for a Precision Carving workshop on Tuesday 4th August, 10:00am–4:00pm, at the Burngate Stone Centre, Purbeck. This is the follow-on for the ‘Have A Go’ class and will improve your carving technique.
Learn to stone carve in a full day with renowned stone sculptor Jonathan Sells. Take home your stone carving and new skills on completion. No previous carving experience needed, all materials and tools provided, along with expert tuition.
Jonathan took part in a ‘Have A Go Stone Carving’ event at Dunshay Manor, Harman’s Cross, Swanage, on 17th and 18th September 2022.
The first stone carving lessons of the year took place over the May 2021 Bank Holiday weekend, at Sandy Hill Studio, Corfe Castle. More lesson dates to be announced soon.
Jonathan will be teaching 2-hour relief stone carving sessions, at Guggleton Farm Arts on Saturday 7th December 2019.
Jonathan will be teaching short relief stone carving sessions, at Guggleton Farm Arts on Friday 1st November 2019. The lessons will be £20 each and last two hours, with an added £5 for stone. You are welcome to stay for more than one lesson.
